Liz and Mark married | Canberra wedding photographer, Smithographer04.29.12

This was one of those weddings, stunning couple, stunning location, and a stunning day!

Liz and Mark live in Adelaide, When Liz mentioned that they were getting married on her family’s property near Gunning NSW, I didn’t quite know what I was in for! Liz grew up at the Frankfield homestead, an early John and Francis Hume leasehold of 1823. The main house, coach house, and stables dating back to the 1870′s. My kinda location, steeped in so much history.

However, a wedding is not so much about the location as it is the people. Two people coming together, and committing their lives to each other in the company of friends and family. Both Liz and Mark are a stunning, down to earth, easy going couple, totally in love with each other! Its is amazing how small a world we live in too, Mark, and his best man, Ryan, are in the Royal Australian air force. As it turns out, they fly the same aircraft that my cousin fly’s and have flown together. Crazy small world!

I will let the images from the day speak for themselves.

This last one is so true…

Dream indeed!

Liz and Mark, thank ou so much for allowing me to be a part of your day, enjoy the photos and memories.

Corin & Trevor married | South coast wedding photographer01.18.12

I always find it difficult putting into words the events of each wedding and the many special moments shared by all, I guess that is why I am a photographer and not a writer. With this in mind I am only going to say that this was a wonderful wedding full of many laughs, smiles, and tears. I believe the images tell all that needs to be said.

Corin and Trevor, it was a wonderful pleasure to photograph your wedding and be a part of your amazing day. You are both amazing people with the most open and friendly families. Tathra, while only small, is definitely a beautiful place.

Mallory and Dale were married in a beautiful old church in Molong, in NSW. It was a beautiful ceremony, full of love and laughs. We headed out to Mallory’s family farm for some photos on sunset, and what a beautiful location it was!

Mallory and Dale are such a down to earth couple and such a pleasure to photograph!

Something different | Canberra portrait photographer05.29.11

This is something different for me, its not often I photograph newborn’s. Our good friends Kent and Sarah recently welcomed their beautiful daughter, Charlotte, to the world, so i thought we had better get some photos for them while she is still little. Their son, Bailey, we photographed back in 2009 and has grown so much since then.

Just after we finished photographing Charlotte, I noticed Bailey sneaking a snack under the table. Cute, but cheeky!

Carolyn and Dan | Canberra wedding photographer05.25.11

I first met Carolyn when she was a bridesmaid at Maggie and Luke’s wedding back in 2009. It was a wonderful spring day in late September in Orange NSW. The rain stayed away and left us with the most beautiful light in the afternoon. Carolyn and Dan are such an easy going couple and were ready for anything. It was such a great day and Sarah and I are both blessed to have been a part of it.
